👴 About me

Professionally I have a digital marketing background that dates back quite far. Yeah I am super old all things considered, so be nice, you should treat your elders with respect… or so I was told, back in my day, when I had to walk to school, 20km each way, uphill, also back and forth. The dark ages were brtual let me tell you.

So I am old, I work in digital marketing, but, while I will post the occasional article about that, my actual blog is only about my non-day-job escapades. Be it a new video I posted on YouTube and going into more detail in a blog post, outlining a new app or plugin I released, or updates on my progress on a certain project, all the way down to reviews and excitedly sharing new purchases I wasted my money on.

Towards the end of September I went on a tiny shopping spree. You know, what do we do when we are sad? Add to cart. Next to an An iPhone 14 Pro Max, finally caving in and putting together a gaming PC, a new monitor, I obviously needed something that does 4k144 for that gaming…

  • Bayonetta 3 Review

Astral Chain was a really cool game, with a neat gimmick centering around controlling both your character, as well as your Legion. Legions and Weapons in Astral Chain, the way ZL was used in that game, as well as the overall simplified gameplay, when compared to previous platinumgames’ games was something of a sticking point…

It still took me a little longer to write another blog post than I would have liked, but the gap wasn’t as big as last time at least. My part-time job at the café is going great and I am even starting to to learn how to make latte art. When I do it, it…

  • It’s been just over a month since I started working part time at the café and I am still thoroughly enjoying it. I haven’t had much time to update my blog, but rather than wait for another week to do so, I thought it might be better to do a quick update instead. Just to…

Saturday and Sunday (24th and 25th of September) were me second and third day of working at the Café and it’s honestly quite enjoyable. My whole weekend was kind of packed, something that’s probably fairly normal for most people, but for me that’s a very new concept to get accustomed to. Let’s roll back a…

I play on Hitbox and I made two whole videos on why I personally switched to Hitbox, which was because of my left wrist. I am not going to repeat the contents of those videos here, because the videos exist and the past hasn’t changed. If you want to know more about my personal reasoning,…

I’ve been in full time employment on and off since forever. I’ve taken some freelance periods here and there, but since January of 2019 I’ve been back in full-time employment and honestly it’s kind of nice to have fixed holidays, not having to worry about health insurance, actually getting money back from the tax office…
